Dr Alex Hamilton

Dr Alex Hamilton is a cataract, refractive and corneal surgeon and medical retina specialist.

Alex completed his ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital where he continues to consult and operate as a corneal specialist and surgeon. He undertook two years of further subspecialty training in the United Kingdom and completed a fellowship in corneal and refractive vision correction surgery at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.

Specialising in all forms of laser vision surgery, Alex is excited about how successful Laser Vision Correction can be and loves helping patients to see better.

As a specialist corneal surgeon at Sydney Eye Hospital, Alex trains Australian and international eye surgeons and is a clinical lecturer at The University of Sydney.

Away from work Alex has two young boys which keep him on his toes. He loves living near the beach, playing sport and travelling.
